Assumption, Reed Township

No longer in use, Assumption Church is located a few miles south of Sorrowful Mother Shrine. According to a parish history, the church was designed in 1907 by Erhard Brielmaier and Sons, prominent architects of Milwaukee. More information about Brielmaier HERE.

St. Gaspar del Bufalo, Marywood

Built in 1884.

The church was originally known as St. Michael's, until several parishes were consolidated under the name St. Gaspar del Bufalo (founder of the Precious Blood order.)

Marywood is also referred to as "Frank," as that was the original name of the area.

This church is very close to the Sorrowful Mother Shrine in Bellevue.

St. Michael, Findlay

At St. Michael's in Findlay (the new church on Bright Road), there is a beautiful series of stained glass windows of saints. It's easy to miss them, as they are in hallways and rooms to the right and left of the sanctuary. Well worth a look.

St. Peregrine, patron of cancer victims.

There are two windows of St. Michael the Archangel.
