Were any of you gentlemen fortunate enough to be at the Hector Olivera organ concert at St. Pat's last night? Fabulous -- simply wonderful to hear that beautiful new/old organ commanded by such a master -- and to hear all the delightful tricks that organ is capable of!
Upon leaving the church after the show, we were entertained by some decidedly unexpected music from the bell tower. I don't think I've ever heard "Yesterday" or "It's Almost Like Being In Love" come out of a church steeple before ...
Are you serious???!!! I'd have been rolling on the ground laughing.
We were singing along ... OHHH, I BELIEVE IN YESTERDAY ... must've sounded like we'd been in a nearby bar!
I did happen to be there it was magnificent
