This wonderful painting shows a scene from the consecration of the church. I don't think many parishes are fortunate enough to have anything like this.
I'd guess that's Fr. Hannin, at the right. I'm not sure if Bishop Horstmann of Cleveland was the bishop or if they had someone else. I'll look into that and post again.
Does anyone know who painted it? I didn't have my reading glasses with me to look for a signature. Magnificent work, whoever did it.
