An old public school building by St. Mary's has been torn down, so there is a totally unobstructed view from one side.

St. Mary's, Clyde



The doors were locked, but I got an interesting look at a stained glass window with a baptismal font design.

Clyde is the setting of Sherwood Anderson's book "Winesburg, Ohio." Somehow St. Mary's did not get a mention.

That's Our Lady giving the brown scapular to St. Simon Stock. Rather well done, actually.
Ornate, without being fussy. I love it.
