Visitation Monastery, Parkside Boulevard

I was hoping to get a few quick pictures, but the sisters are more hospitable, talkative, and thoroughly delightful than I ever imagined. I have an invitation to go back and I'll give it the full treatment then. Jewel-like is the phrase I'd use. This is more of Joseph Huber's work.

reminds me a lot of the episcopal church here in town.

Just enough to make me want more ... Alex, do you have pictures? Were pictures of this place posted somewhere else at one time?

There are some HERE and more HERE. This blog has never been quite that ecumenical, though considering the amount of hate mail I'm getting from "faithful Catholics" ( Yes, vicious denunciation really makes me want to get right with that old imaginary friend Jesus ) it may end up that way eventually.

Just ignore the hate, Jeffrey, and know that there are plenty of folks who continue to hold you in high regard.

Awesome photos Jeffrey - so why would this cause hate-mail? Am I missing something?
