I'll be heading to Carey tomorrow for sophomore retreat. Expect many pictures from me getting "lost" from the rest of the group. (I'm actually going as a yearbook rep, but that doesn't mean i can't wander off right?)

I was just out for a lunchtime walk, and passed the Norwalk Catholic School 4th Graders and Fr. Cirata heading over to the Norwalk Sorrowful Mother Shrine.

It must be retreat week at NCS.

well quite frankly Jay, it's been like that the whole month of May. It's truly been a wasted month. School has been a joke. (At least that's the way it's been in the high school) The elementary i have no idea.

i have plenty of pictures. I'll post them tomorrow.

No argument there. Except for the basics, I learned all of my half-vast store of knowledge outside the classroom.

If you'd gone on a retreat in the 70's, you might change your mind.

Yeah, I'm not sure I consider Father taking the 4th grade down to a Marian shrine "a waste". Stuff like that (and the May Crowning at the Early Childhood Center last week) is the primary reason we moved to Norwalk and put our kids in the Catholic school.
