The Other Toledo

The great monstrance made by Enrique de Arfe for the Cathedral of Toledo in the 16th century. It weighs 195 kilos but it's still carried in procession. Good. We need more of that.

Wow! That's one monster of a monstrance.

I'm used to seeing the ones that a single priest could carry.

Obviously a very special piece, for a small army ;-)
