Now this one is puzzling.

No hair on (presumably) Mary, while a full, rich head of hair on the Christ Child.

A slightly Egyptian hint about it.

Odd portrayal of the Christ Child IN the chalice...

The almost monochromatic (red) garment/headpiece.

It's just strange. . .

A guess, Eastern/Greek Orthodox?
