St. Mary, Norwalk

Photo by Alex Fries. The little triangular windows, low on the transept, are interesting.

i'd still like to know why those windows were never put in there where there are places for one....desing change shortly after the brickwork was finished? there was never a window on the inside, as states all the old pictures i have. i would think they would have the same design in that window as Sacred Heart's little ones do there in the back of it.

And, what's with that plain block "outhouse" with the chimney???

Either they should have dressed it up with some decorative brick or found a better place for it.

And that gang of electrical meters and conduits..., OY VEH!

A bit of brick facing would hide it rather well.

it's actually the where the heater is...there is no real basement to the church so that's where it is...there was an outhouse there, as well as the old heating system. The bathroom got moved inside..Thank God!
