A tribute to the treasure trove of ecclesiastical art and architecture in the Diocese of Toledo.
Alex --Sorry, that first photo is from the 1920's. If you enlarge the photo, you can see an automobile, a coupe with a flat radiator -- typical for the period. And there also is a telephone pole. The auto in the second photo dates it to around 1940.
well i didn't really have them in any order. I guess i should have noted that. There are no actual dates on the photographs. Thanks though..
It's one of the few get-aways in this area. Very peaceful. Fresh air too. You really should get out there this time of year...it's the best.
I would love to visit this church! Perhaps it can be included in a future church tour ...
haha! oh yes. I've been thinking about it myself. May not be till after the new year. St. Anthony's, St. Alphonsus, St. Joseph's, St. Paul's, St. Mary's, the Norwalk shrine, wakeman St. Mary's, Biskmark St. Sebastian's. Oh just think of the possibilities.
well we can always drive by it. on the way to St. Gaspar's, let's say.
I'll be there!
