St. Vincent de Paul, North Toledo

Don't let the simplicity fool you. This is very interesting. The picture was taken about 1937, when the building was nine years old.
Do you know what this looks like? The chapel on an army base, of the same period. My father and maternal grandfather spent time in the army so I've seen a lot of pictures. I wouldn't be surprised if the building were prefabricated. The fact that it was meant to be temporary backs up the possibility.
I have the same suspicion about the school, , built at the same time but frequently expanded, due to expanding enrollment. It has that same military base look to it.
The school was replaced, with a brick building, in 1955, and the church in 1968-1969.
