Good Shepherd, East Toledo

The vaulting, as in this segment of an aisle, is heavily decorated, but limited to the functional. It doesn't charge out in all directions like many of its contemporaries. The ceilings are painted a rich blue, with stars. Notice the plasterwork in the arch.

The plasterwork is simply amazing!

It's even more amazing that it's intact.
