St. Alphonsus, Peru

Very simple, but servicable. The spire is the best feature. What it may lack in presentation, it more than makes up for in historical importance.

I believe St. Alphonsus was the first parish in the Diocese.

That is correct. If you go to the Ohio History journal website, v. 69

there is a good article about Francisca Bauer, who helped start the parish.
