
In the vestibule, at SS Peter and Paul, is a statue of
Our Lady of San Juan de los Lagos, which was brought from Mexico several decades ago.


Surrounding the statue are milagros, small ex voto offerings, usually made of lead. The shape of the milagro often reflects the nature of the prayer that was answered.


The pedestal was originally the base of the ambo. I'm not quite sure I approve of that, but I'll admit it must have rather overwhelmed the fairly small sanctuary.
