Above, an excerpt from a presentation to seminarians by architect John T. Comes in 1920. Comes was the initial designer of Rosary Cathedral, as well as St. Martin de Porres in Toledo, St. Mary's in Millersville, and St. Paul's chapel in Hamler, and an influence on several others.
Thanks to David McMunn, a Pittsburgh resident researching Comes' life and work, for sharing this publication from the Carnegie Mellon University archives.
