Yes, but getting a ladder that big to them would be physically impossible. Too many turns. Only other place would be the hall, and that's used frequently, so they'd be underfoot all the time. Here, they're back in a corner of the transept, where they're not easily seen, except when taking pictures from the St. Anne Chapel.
