Adolphus Druiding, Architect

If you've traveled on US Rt. 23 north of Columbus, these spires may look familiar -- St. Mary's Church in Delaware.

The church is credited to the firm of Adolphus Druiding, a German-American architect active in the late 1800s. According to this list, he also worked on Toledo's St. Patrick Historic and Ottoville's Immaculate Conception. He also drew up plans for St. Rose in Perrysburg that ultimately were not used.
See another of Druiding's churches at Rome of the West.

Catholic Genealogy

More than a few visitors to this blog are working on genealogy / family trees. Just learned of a helpful blog, The Catholic Gene. Take a look HERE.

Also, if you are doing any research on families in NW Ohio, the Library at the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center in Fremont is a great resource. They host classes on genealogy as well.
