St. Joseph Syrian Melkite Mission, 1939
Photo from a 1939 issue of the Catholic Chronicle. BGSU's Center for Archival Collections has records for the St. Joseph Syrian-Lebanese Melkite Mission included with Toledo's St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, as the mission met there from 1929 - 1954.
Interesting - wonder if this is connected to the St. Joseph's Melkite now in Akron. Much of the early history of the Melkites in the US has been lost (mostly buried in local Roman Catholic archives). As the webmaster for the Melkite Eparchy of Newton - I would be very interested in knowing about any information that might be available.

You might try contacting the diocesan archivist Peter Ueberroth. He may be of help.
