
I am seriously impressed by this parish. Good artwork, nice side chapels, all in a soaring sanctuary that's built to overwhelm.

Notice the way the crucifix has two shadows. Interesting effect.

The place is enormous.


That's not the nave you're looking down. That's one of the transepts. Reminds me of those wonderful abbey churches built in the early part of the 20th century.
