St. Paul Norwalk

After playing around with the picture...it looks more like the real colors. There is a little too much green towards the bottom...but you get the idea. It's like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.

St. Mary, Clyde

That's Our Lady giving the brown scapular to St. Simon Stock. Rather well done, actually.
Ornate, without being fussy. I love it.

St. Mary, Millersville

The St. Joseph is particularly good.

Running Through My Small Supply of Energy

Expect pictures from Fremont, Clyde, Gibsonburg, and Millersville in the near future. May post some tomorrow, but it's going to be a busy weekend.

St. Joseph, Toledo

I just noticed St. Joseph's WEBSITE. Excellent work!

St. Gerard, Lima

I am seriously impressed by this parish. Good artwork, nice side chapels, all in a soaring sanctuary that's built to overwhelm.
Notice the way the crucifix has two shadows. Interesting effect.
The place is enormous.

That's not the nave you're looking down. That's one of the transepts. Reminds me of those wonderful abbey churches built in the early part of the 20th century.
