St. Augustine, Napoleon
Finally, an interior picture. Very good. Victorian without being fussy or overdecorated. The high altar is excellent and I love that chair. Photo by Sean Lyons of Roamin' Catholics.
How satisfying to see that, even after several renovations, they still kept the historical character of the church intact!! St. Hedwig's is coming to mind a bit for me ...
That's funny...when I walked into Saint Augustine on Sunday, that was the exact thing that entered my mind - "it's Saint Hedwig". There are a lot of similarities, especially with the main and side altars.
