Holy Trinity, Bucyrus

  1. There's my memory again. I could swear I've seen a picture somewhere and it certainly wasn't like this.

  2. I attended Holy Trinity School in Bucyrus. The church shown here was gone before I started school...before I was born in 1971 even. The school was built, and the gymnasium (with stage used for the altar area) was used as worship space until the new church was completed in 1980(?).

The "new" church is nowhere near that grand looking.

  3. I'ts a flat, brick building that matches the school. Rather bland looking.

It IS in the shape of a cross, though.

If I can find any pictures, I'll post them and link to them here. Feel free to use them.

  4. My name is Glendon Baker, I attended the old school and the old church (I was an altar boy) back then we answered in Latin. It was truly a wonderful experience and I love the memories I have. All our teachers were nuns; however, by the time I reached third grade they hired one lay teacher and her name was Mrs. Dananhour (not sure of spelling). If anyone one would like to contact me, I would be happy to speak with other Catholics that attended Holy Trinity. God bless you all.
    My e-mail address is glendon.baker@yahoo.com.
