An Interesting Thought
I was reminded of an old question this morning. If you were arrested for being a Catholic,( there's been more danger of that happening in the last century than ever before ) would there be enough evidence to convict you? Think about it.
Actually, the meaning never changed, a loud-mouthed minority tried to impose their own version of what it means, never mind what the Church actually teaches or what Catholics actually wanted. We have a good Pope who is gentle in dealing with "dissent" and the "spirit of Vatican II" crowd ages and dwindles away.
Agreed, the meaning of "being Catholic" has changed greatly, especially in say, the last 25-30 years.
ReplyDeleteIf we are to be incarcerated or worse, for being Catholic, how many these days would remain steadfast?
