I don't concern myself with state-of-the-art Historic St. Pat's anymore, but I do find myself saying a prayer for both St. John's and St. Peter & Paul, that they'll be spared from such undesirables as lightning strikes. I don't know what sort of lightning protection those spires may or may not have ...ShariYShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00248944687701144161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-142841714418512823.post-3625573199035764582008-02-22T05:34:00.000-05:002008-02-22T05:34:00.000-05:00The spire was lost to a storm in the 1920's. At this point, there's very little chance that replacing it would be economically feasible. It's a very small congregation.<BR/>I agree about All Saints. The spire looked like it would be more at home on a Wren-type building. The base of it works uncommonly well as a cap, though.Jeffrey Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05227411938775535934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-142841714418512823.post-31766233218309978312008-02-21T18:47:00.000-05:002008-02-21T18:47:00.000-05:00Desperately needs ANOTHER spire!
