Hi all ... St. Peter Mansfield is an awesome structure ... and is designed by -- none other than -- William P. Ginther ... The same architect of St. Mary's/Norwalk, St. John/Defiance, Good Shepherd/Toledo ... and many more. I am working on a book on him ... because I grew up in one of his churches in Ashtabula -- and it had a profound effect on me. Ginther was from Akron, OH --- and deserves to have his name recognized. If you guys ever get up to Akron/Cleveland, you need to check out St. Bernards ... also by Ginther. Absolutely stunning. BTW, I would love to meet up w. you guys some time (in Cleveland, or Toledo, for a photo shoot ... it could be a lot of fun ... Chip
The murals were painted by Hungarian artist John Bernat, who also did work at St. Stephen's, in East Toledo. His wife, Martha Milligan Bernat, a Toledo native carved the Stations of the Cross you can see in some of the pictures.

If you make it to Toledo, just let me know. I'd enjoy that.
