The woodwork in the bottom picture is really very unusual. Don't know what to make of it, or of the metal gate.

At the top of the sanctuary is a stained glass window skylight. I thought it was a neat feature.

Also, the dark yellow walls are a marblized texture. It looks much better in person.

Why don't you like the ceiling, btw?

You can't see why on these pictures, but in the other post. It's been painted to de-emphasize the vaulting and some sort of ugly black dots ( lighting fixtures? ) added that stick out like sore thumbs. If they are lights, why not paint the ceiling so they don't show up as much?
